What is short tail key words and long tail keywords ?

Can you explain me about this ? and both of this keywords which type of keywords is more useful to get more traffic?

Short tail keywords are the main keywords being searched for, and long tail keywords are longer versions of the main keywords, that still get traffic

Sometimes I read these questions and think "Really, is somebody really asking this?"

What I will say is that we drive a LOT of traffic by focusing on long tail phrases. By far the majority of our traffic comes from them. They're easier to get good SERPs for, that's for sure.
