What do you spend your webmastering time doing?

I know I don't spend enough time writing content and spend too much time checking stats and on the forums. Worse still I spend the least amount of time doing the things I should be doing building links and writing content.

What about you?

1. Writing Content
2. Hanging out on forums and networking
3. Checking stats
4. Building links
5. Building and fiddling with sites.
6. Experimenting with scripts and code.
7. Researching

Must admit im either messing around with template designs checking stats or on a forum somewhere, everynow and then i get the urge to link build, unless ive planned a couple days to solely link build, but even then i end up posting on forums again (or reading at least)

I don't care about design tweaking or layout or other boring stuff that people seem to get hung up on. I spend the BULK of my time researching.

You can throw a simple site together in minutes with regard design. layout is simple, follow the basic. The aim of my sites are to get people in, give them as much information as they need, then give them the way out (via my preferred method of leaving), as soon as possible. I earn, they get what they want, the people that pay me get a customer (or whatever I am getting paid to deliver), everybody is happy. :D

I guess I spend half my research time looking at existing stats (to split into tighter sub niches), and the other half researching new areas.

The time I spend on forums is relaxation and feelgood time. I get a psychological lift from helping people.

I have added researching to the list. BTW OWG I installed sitsupertracker great script - thanks for that.

I have never actually sat down and work out what I spend most of my webmastering time on. I have a felling its actually spent tinkering and posting on this forum and LBS forum.

For me

-> Hanging out on forums and networking
-> Building links
-> Building and fiddling with sites.
-> Checking stats
-> Sometimes Experimenting with scripts and code.
-> Most of times Researching
