Warning about Fake Maxbounty Skype Accounts...

Just wanted everyone to know that there are creeps out there setting up fake Skype accounts that mimic Maxbounty affiliate manager and other Maxbounty employee accounts with photos of Maxbounty employees and all...

They look legit..

I did a search for the real address of an affiliate manager and it appeared to come up in the search and I starting conversing with the person and after a few exchanges which appeared to be legitimate they wanted to know my login info...

That of course didn't sound right..

And makes no sense since Maxbounty would have all that info..

I didn't give it to them and got through in a phone call to Maxbounty and found out this was a problem and they were trying to get Skype to go after the people behind the fake accounts...

So I imagine people are also setting up these fake accounts for many other companies..

Scammers are creative, if nothing else. Seems like they're always coming up with new ways to commit illegal acts.
