Volume of content - Number of Words? + Duplication of text
From what I have read I'm given to understand that the search engines would like a minimum of 200 - 400 words per page.
My site is an e-commerce site and there is no way I can write 200 never mind 400 words about a fleece balaclava with out resorting to babbling like a loon.
I've managed 114 words it reads well and includes my key words, is it really worth trying to pad it out?
My other query is about duplication of text, I have jackets one in a camouflage pattern and one in green other than that they are identical. As a result the descriptions are very nearly the same I have managed to include some variation in the wording about usability but that's it. The bulk of the description including the of features is the same.
Is this going to be a problem?
