Virus and Spyware are the machine eaters as they cause lot of problem for the machine and the user operating it. These are ridiculous software which tend to destroy the speed and stole the information from the machine.
I remove it myself but when i was new to the computers i tend to ask others to do it for me but not now i am self driven.
I will remove it myself,. or if i have the time; i will scan throuh my daily backups and see what is in infected and remove that, then reformat my whole computer, to make sure it is gone completely.
Most of my friends don't know much about PCs so if I ever find malware on my PC I'll have no choice but to get rid of it myself. My anti-virus usually does a good job, I don't remember encountering malware for about a year now. But in the past, when I'd encounter those really tough malwares esp. trojans I'd usually google search the solution to them.
