Using links not associated with a specific ad

Let's say I am promoting a business in CJ. When I click "get links", all the links have id's in them to tell which ad was clicked -- and they all go to the sites homepage.

But I want to 1) be able to have a link to a specific page on their site, and 2) just use a text link, such in within an article. Should I email the contact and ask, or....? It seems like they should be fine with this, but not sure how to go about it.

I have not been into CJ for a long time but I think some merchants offer an option to let you change the destination of the link. If this merchant doesn't offer that option, then I think you'll need to contact them to find out how to format a link to go to the page you want.
