Hello All,
I have been a Windows user since Windows 3 (then came 3.1, then came 3.11
which was called Windows for Workgroups) then 95, 98, ME, 2k, etc... And
just recently I started to shop around for a Linux distribution that had a short
learning curve. I was recommend to use either Ubuntu (Gnome) or Kubuntu (KDE).
Well, I went for Ubuntu for a week, then installed Kubuntu on top of that, and
I really liked it. I was dual booting them with Windows XP. But - since I didn't
know 'nix too well, I had someone messed up the boot loader!
So long story short, I had to re-install XP
What's the consensus here about running Ubuntu with XP? Do you all favor
one over the other, and have you had any trouble dual booting?
