Speaking Characters - Yes or No?

No i wouldn't. I have visited sites with speaking characters and it is really annoying

Whistles and bells of this type are an annoyance and will turn more visitors off than they will please.

I will not have a speaking character on my site if I am paid to. However, for some products, a video demo can be very powerful.

I drove hundreds of miles from London to Leicester to buy a second hand LPG car recently, the car dealer had a "video demo" of the car where he show every inch of the car inside and outside with comments... this this showed the condition of the car and I has a fair idea of what to expect, it was as he described when I got there.

I hate these (site pal) things.. NO WAY on my sites thank you.. I agree with temi, video is a powerful tool if used right...

sites like youtube and google video would not have become so popular otherwise..

video has to be user selected..

I hate anything that goes into autoplay be it sound or video..

If I want to listen or watch I will click it, I dont want it ramming in my face...

what do you guys think ??
