"Soft" Comment Spam - Your Thoughts?

What are your thoughts on "Soft" Comment Spam. The kind of comment spam from people who manage websites. They're generally related to your post but their "Names" are quite keyword rich. I've noticed a few who used to spam my blog appearing on some of the top commenters lists on my feed reader, so I wonder if I was just being harsh. I just hate the fact that usually their e-mail address was gospelrhys@thedomaintheywantedtospam.com, or they commented under different aliases.

Your thoughts?

As long as the comment is not obvious spam and self promotion - I don't mind whatever name they use. But if comments is something like "I like your article, visit this site..." with a link somewhere else - I will delete it...

So long as the comment is relevant and contains some new or interesting content then all well and good ... they scratch my back & I scratch theirs ... it's all content.
