Setting Up a Network?

Has anyone ever heard of setting up a network for a website? With the purpose of driving traffic? Supposedly it's supposed to be a blockbuster method.

I know this sounds broad but I only heard it in passing and I don't know anything else.

I think you may be talking about when webmasters set up a network of sites. Typically the sites are in related markets and with various cross linking strategies can help each other with inbound links and traffic. But I think in general G either does not like or ignores links from other sites you own (don't remember exactly) so you need to be aware of that.

But bottom line is it's an advanced strategy newbies should not even be thinking about right now. Put all your energy into your core site and learn to make it work before thinking about branching out too much.

Oh ok Linda,

I figured it was something like that, I was just curious what it meant, someone in another forum has had GREAT success with this and they aren't giving away the secrets for free so I was just dying to know what they were referring to.
