Search engine conventions

Hi all,

I recently received a letter inviting me to a "search engine marketing conference". Looks like Top dogs from Google, Overture and many more will be there. The problem I have is a $1500.00 registration fee, I think this conference would be a great help but I cannot justify spending that kind of money for a three day event. Has anyone been to these things before? Is it worth the money? :roll:

Im thinking the same, way overpriced for me. It is in San Jose California at the same place Commision Junction just finished up an expo. Even CJ's was to high, they wanted like $400.00 for three days. I went for the vender hall, it was great to meet the top affiliates, but no way was I going to caugh up $400.
