Protect your children on the Internet

This is actually getting hard to protected the children from adult stuff. Just think about the advertisement on the road or shopping mall. It's good to know that you do your best to save your nephews from the adult. You can use some pron blocking software or adblocker to stop showing unuasal advertisement on the internet.

What of the apps which can be used to spy on everything the kids?

Some of these apps monitor everything: messages, phone calls, websites the kids visit, the media on those pages. Invasion of privacy? There shouldn't be anything a parent can't do to protect their children. The are too many psychos on the net and if a little spying will keep your kid safe then you've got to do what must be done to keep them safe.

Thank you for such an informative post! For my son, I don't let him watch videos on the internet yet since he's just about to turn two years old. I guess when he's a bit older, I might allow him to use the iPad or laptop. But it's going to be restricted and limited. I think it's important to let him know that internet use is not something that should be abused. He's going to get, at the most, two hours of gadget time a day. And I'd monitor whatever he's doing. It's better if he just play on educational apps that I can download.

We have cable television so if he does want to watch cartoons, he can have Disney or CN. But even those cartoons there are kind of violent. I mean, have you watched Adventure Time? Lol. What qualifies as safe for children to watch nowadays are weird. So guidance is still very important whether they're using a gadget or watching television.

There are actually a lot of good products out there that can really help when it comes to setting parental controls and making it safer for children, but of course the operative word there is safer, because we all know that it is never really one hundred percent safe. It will cost you though, because these programs are pretty expensive, but I do think that it is worth it because there is a lot of dangerous things out there if your child has alone time on the computer.

One of the worst thing to happen to your children is their access to porn sites. You can either ask your ISP to block porn site, or block Porn sites on the computer that your children use.
