Price comparision websites 'needed checking'

Price comparison websites should have their data checked by an independent authority to make sure it is accurate some group suggested yesterday.

Outgoing BT MD attacked Uswitch a few day ago on the radio, because Uswitch claims BT provides the worst service, BT MD claimed that because BskyB funds Uswitch, they are likely to be biased towards BT.



The question from all the above is, do you trust comparison sites?

Totally agree, most of them dont have a wide enough range because they are funded by the companys listed or they have a affiliate program with that company , 9 times out of 10 you can find the same product or an updated one for less on other sites.Great idea to make big money though lol

I don't trust them but I can't really say much because I own something pretty similar but Poker/Casino.

I do thing they need to be better regulated. The insurance companies themselves won't do anything because for them it brings in the leads obviously.
