Always best to look into the company you want to work for and understand what it is they do. Find out the product/service they offer and how you can help make an impact if they hired you. You'll also want to promote yourself and why they would be crazy to turn you down.

Make sure you know your stuff! Understand what type of company they are and what they offer, and be sure to have some points in mind on how you're able to improve the platform and take it to the next level.
Don't blow smoke, but describe yourself in the best way possible and touch on all of your strong points and any past success you've had. Until you are hired, you're in a sales position and the product you are selling is YOURSELF to each company you apply for!
