Place of Images on email marketing

Hello guys..
I'm working on email marketing and daily send up to 500 email for online product selling advertisement.
So like to know that How much Images affected on email marketing.
I have doubt because of some reviews of receiver and it's negative. Just because they can see images after clicking on "Display Images" on their mail, and it is irritating.
So give me your point of view. Thank in advance for your reply. :cool:
 
What your best bet would be is to split test and see which works best for your list.
I've been mailing for years. Some users have images auto loaded, some don't.

Split test it if it's 500 emails total, do 250 image based and 250 text based. Whichever batch does better, send that to the other.
Ex;
If 250 text based did better than 250 image based, send the text based creative to the 250 that you sent the image to.
