Nutsell: I think the OOP programming is a very cool thing, but not must for everywhere. The simple functions and classes so enough.
IF a site is very difficulted (example a social-network or an online game engine) the OOP need. Pro: esasyer the programming with an object and object function (all is given) Contra: an OOP engine is not simple, not easy the bugfixing and not short
