The Internet can be a very dangerous place for kids. Do you watch your kids when they are on the net or do you have any parental control software in place to protect your kids whilst they are online?
I guess if we are talking about teenagers, they are old enought to take their own decision and to know what is good and what is bad. Internet is for informations, you can decide what you want to find out and what you do not want to know...
I know I wont be governing what my children can and can't see on the internet but when it comes to chat rooms and msn then yes I may keep a closer eye on them but I'd NEVER say no you cant do this this or this - trust me, it breeds hostility and makes them think you dont trust them! Speaking from experience!
I can't comment on social networking sites cos they may not be around then!
