One strong domain or many niche domains?

Affiliate marketers often collect domains for different niches.

But many niche domains never get built, while one strong domain may be easier to grow properly.

Would you rather own one strong domain for a serious site, or many average domains for future affiliate ideas?

I’ve done both, and for me a strong domain usually wins. Having a lot of niche domains feels productive at first, but it often turns into a list of projects that never get enough attention. A single site with good content, authority, and consistent updates has a much better chance to grow. I’d rather build one asset properly and expand into new niches inside it than spread my time across ten unfinished websites.
