Is there is any difference between On page seo and on site seo and how it is different from?

As far as I know there aren't any differences between on-page & on-site SEO,
what I could guess is that, on-site seo refers to local seo instead of outsourcing it to another region(country, city, etc),
I don't know if this is correct.
