No PR - Would it put you off?

Hi

If Google decided to scrap PR, would you still put the time and effort you put into your websites today. e.g. creating backlinks etc

For those who have been a webmaster before Google was around, this may not bother you, but what about those who have always known of PR?

Gkd, nowadays i go for links in order to improve relevance not for PR. If this factor would be eliminated from the algo (i honestly doupt that) the calculation will still base on backlinks, so...

Link sellers would have to find a new (probably more appropriate) way to price links (traffic, page strength etc.) but apart from that nothing much would change.

i think back to old theory. back links. But problem in google PR not just back links. it is taking into lot deep information. like domain age , relevancy , back link domains , back links...etc. ...
