Newbie - childrens eBooks, best way to market, sell, etc.

Greetings,

Hoping this site may be able to help me. My father, 80+ years, has written a number of children's ebooks. So now, how do I help him market and sell them.

We could build our own site with blogging and try to market ourselves. Arg...

We may be able to get a book into Kindle or something for free? Then if well received sell others?

Clickbank or other affiliate styled sales?

Other then kindle, not sure how to handle security for .pdf ebooks? Or what else to be concerned about?

These are 10 to 20 page young childrens books. We are so new, we are not really sure what to ask, what routs to look towards, etc.

You can build a site that is optimized for search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and Bing. Pick the right keywords that you need - "children books", "teaching children", "stories and fairy tales", etc.

I suggest to research more for the best way to sell those books, the right domain name you use, website look that could attract visitors, the price of the book, how to generate more traffic, etc., Starting this kind of business is very strategical be sure to came up with a better one.
