Welcome to 5 Star. The shortest, easiest explanation is that affiliates get paid for selling other people's products. There is a whole lot more to it. It's not fast money and takes time and learning.

Some affiliate programs also walk you through the steps needed to promote their products.

What I would suggest is just get an overview of the business then pick one thing to focus on and learn in detail

There is a lot of free information that is pretty useful in this forum

Also a few free to view websites and blogs that will teach you what you need to know to get started

The internet is such an amazing place

After you read everything you will start to get a clearer picture of what it is and what you need to do.

I would suggest putting the info to use as soon as you feel you have the basic steps, the best way to learn this biz is with hands-on experience and trial and error
