Namecheap's renewal prices are more than Namesilo so after a few years you may be in the red. I use Namecheap for some new gTLDs now that others may not have -- same with Name.com.

If you are a short-term player with domain names: then go with the cheapest price to register new, see if the name can be SEO'd successfully in year 1 -- if not just dump it. Or, maybe sell it in the first year for some profit?
