My Conversions Suck!

Hi guys!
I's a pleasure for me to be here with such great marketers.
I'm a newbie in the affiliate marketing industry but I really want to understand how to be at the top in this game.
And when I say "I really want" I mean that I'm studying and testing in the same time.
Obviously I'm investing few bucks...but I think it's a good start.

Until now I was no successful with my campaign. In the best of the case I can reach the break even point and nothing more.

So here is my question for those already having some experiences with profitable campaings: which is the the testing process you usually use and how do you scale the campaign you selected?
