I have been a personal user on Metafilter since 2006. Love the site. It has just recently come to my attention that Metafilter is also a very helpful way to linkbuild..
My question about this is two fold. Is the above information correct? And also, with the high standards of Metafilter, is it even worth the risk trying to linkbuild on the front page? Or would there be more luck with linkbuilding in replies?
The thing is that since I've used Metafilter for my personal use so much (and would prefer not to create a sock puppet account), I'm really hesitant to risk getting booted or flagged. Does anyone have any experience with Metafilter for linkbuilding purposes?
