Looking for CPA adnetworks (as an advertiser)

Hello. i’, new to affiliate and want to ask about experience with CPA optimization. I researched best (by ratings, maybe i missed someone) adult adnetworks and got these, who have real CPA billing : Clickadu, Adsterra, Trafficstars.
And i’ve learned about Propellerads and Exoclick - they have CPA optimisation, but no CPA billing.

Does anyone have experience with this network in CPA campaigns as an advertiser?
I mean is it real to set a CPA goal and get traffic, which converts and nu manual tuning? Is it a common thing or you must be lucky?

I'm asking about a specific thing - CPA billing in ad networks, who claim to have it.

As i understood it is not a common thing to work with cpa based billing and no one (here) have any experience with such a thing.
