I am also a Joomla user, but I do not consider upgrading to vs 1.5.
For now Joomla is allright, easy to adapt to my needs, I can create templates for it and I find many components. It has a nice community backing it so ...guess that is all.
Hello I onced used Joomla w/ community builder and j reviews for a project. Wasn't totally happy with it. I switched over to Handshakes and that seemed okay.. but ultimately it is too hard for users to use. On my main site, i am having someone build me the whole thing from scratch.. you can see the handshakes version of the site still standing for now. hawaiiweddingspace.com and the other which has great graphics but still cumbersome for users: truehalo.com

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
