Is the 5$ payout for Adult dating offers possible for USA geo(Direct Advertisers)

Hey all,

One of my connection on Linkedin offers me that they will pay 5 $ per signup (SOI offer) for the geo USA but it smell fishy to me as i have worked with many network but didn't get the payout above 1-2 for a soi offer. The proposer told me they have the direct offers and are ready to pay on daily basis.

I just wana ask is it possible to get such highest payouts for such offers? Is some one really getting such payouts from a network?
I feel the proposer is a scam, what do you say ?

Well, that's possible if they are a direct advertiser.
But I guess what they really mean by saying SOI is CPA. So you'll bring a lot of sign ups but the advertiser will convert only those that leaded to a sale or subscription or whatever user has to pay for.
Commonly this price level is for CC submit.
So I'd suggest you to clarify the conversion flow in details.
