Is it possible to advertise a gambling blog using Facebook ads?

Does Facebook Ads allow the advertisement of gambling blogs that don't contain affiliate links to casinos?

According to Facebook, "Ads that promote online gambling and gaming, where anything of monetary value (including cash or digital/virtual currencies, e.g. bitcoin) is required to play, and anything of monetary value forms part of the prize, are only allowed with our prior written permission."

Poker, sports betting, and slots have millions of followers on Facebook. So the niche isn't banned from Facebook.

Let's say I create a poker blog post about how to play pocket Aces pre-flop. I don't link to any poker room in the blog post or anywhere on my site. But I have an optin box widget on my sidebar to collect email addresses. I have a privacy policy and my lead magnet is a beginner's guide to playing poker.

Is that allowed?

HI! Yes you can run casino campaigns but you need License. You can ask the certification and if Facebook Approve it, you can make good money. Otherwise if you don´t have license you can run Social Casino Campaigns. Not play with real money and convert to FTD using other method.

I can help you with this.

Thanks for the input. So I need a gaming license to run a Facebook ad campaign for a poker blog post that has no affiliate links? I'm not a casino though.

If anything on your blog shows you can earn money or links to gambling sites, Facebook will block you.
You need a Casino License, fill a long form. send some documents to FB and waiting for approve.

Why you don't try to run casino or gambling campaigns with Google - it is also a premium source, and you will make good money once you find good keywords.

Regarding Facebook - most probably you will be banned from it if you try to advertise gambling/betting/casino sites or offers.

P.S. On MyLead, we have an excellent ebook about how to promote gambling offers. And the best part is it's free! Contact us for more info.

In order to be able to advertise casino and gambling offers on Facebook, you will need to have a license, ie, a certificate from this platform, as well as it's the case with Google ads. No matter if you place links or not, it's not even allowed to add some keywords related to these industries and creatives also, because algorithms can quickly detect something like this and that could lead you to be banned. So, if you don't have this license, or it is pretty hard for you to obtain one, the best would be to look for some other forms of advertising like sharing offers on forums, listing your offers on different online directories, and so on.

Not in the US
  • You need to apply for licensing in each state you intend to do business in as an 'operator' in some cases as a regulated affiliate.
  • The license fee is $200 to $1,500 in each state.
  • You will need to work with a casino or sportsbook (possibly through an aggregator)
So unless you have a lot of money and connections you are just wasting your time.

If you are are a US person: it is unlawful to promote any offshore gambling where the operator is not licensed and regulated in the operator's jurisdiction.

Facebook is currently banning even white-hat ads, so it's best to always use cloaking
We run campaigns hand by hand with Facebook Major Partners and we have Casino Campaigns running(With License). Also Social Casino too and if you have an App better. It´s take time but you can do it.

Cloacking works in short time but it´s became exhausting.

Most likely you can, but why when there are ads everywhere. The advertisement will be used as an information board, nothing more. If you wanted to advertise Fair Go Casino Bonuses — full guide november 2022 you could use stylized accounts and speak directly about the interest of those who will use this offer.
