The question is YES, you can work online if you have good internet connection and have the skills.
Regarding bank accounts etc, you need to go and talk to your university student adviser, they usually have arrangement with banks near you to open account for you.
Good luck :)

Thank you :)

It sounds as if you are not from EU, I am not sure how the work thing regards non EU citizens, you need to ask the home office about working longer than 20 hours online, its beyond my knowledge.

When I was at University, I know my non EU friend were given advise on the sort of questions you are asking by a team responsible for looking after foreign students, they can answer you questions better, they will also have more information about working online beyond the 20 hours home office allows you, when I was at University, there was not online work (And dinosaurs still roam around in UK :)

EU citizens are treated like Brits, they are allowed to work. Non EU citizens are usually allowed to work for maximum of 20 hours a week BUT he really needs to get advice from home office as they are the authority on this.

Temi,
Most people from outside the E.U start an Internet business without informing the Goverment. The Goverment seem to have no control over this.

mo3tazbillah200,

I think you should get in touch with the embassy.

Thanks

gkd_uk , Syria ... ( so can i work online and offline or not 0
and will back soon to reply other reply .. thanks guy you are really the best :)

I don't really have the answer, sorry

If the embassy has said you can work for 20 hours a week, I don't see anything wrong with working on the Internet for 20 hours a week.

I think it would be best to speak to the embassy for more info or visit their website.

By the way, welcome to the forum. It's nice to have you here. If you need any help on your websites, just ask :)

I'm not sure if he would be allowed to work. Don't you need a work permit to work here.
ok if the embassy tell me that i am allowed to work for 20 hours can i still work online ?? i don't know how can i tell them that i do not work more than that? and what about my degree if they're good or not ... that may not happend in offline work .. and i don't know also if i can do both online and oflline work..

I know my non EU friend were given advise on the sort of questions you are asking by a team responsible for looking after foreign students
luck them ,where to find such people to ask for that :)

I think you should get in touch with the embassy.

We are webmasters, lets stop offering suggestions on immigration issues. mo3tazbillah200 should just speak to the home office or specialist advisers at his university.
Thanks
