Hi

What type of websites would be coded in C+ or is this type of coding not used on website?

Thanks

C/C++ are primarily 'proper' programming languages, used for desktop applications mainly, but this days, web applications components are being developed using C and C++ but Java (which has a lot in common with C++) seem to be the web programming language.

As far as i know htm is originated from C language as well, but maybe i am wrong:)

I have just executed a little survey on topic, and found no clue, so i suppose i was totally wrong:)

One can write CGI programs in C (and you could convince a C program to output HTML code), but that's like hammering nails with a screwdiver. Possible, but there are less painful ways. A good workman uses uses the proper tool for the job. Javascript (or ASP), Perl or PHP, or one of the newer languages that are designed to interface with a web client. C is mainly designed to produce console output or a GUI.
