PLEASE NOTE

I was unable to post all the Screenies I had taken because there is a limit of how many Images I can show here. The same post has been posted on my blog with all the images, its just one or two more. I will be happy to answer questions that anyone has! Cheers!

I hope it?s obvious that you firstly need to be a partner with ShareASale to use this method of datafeeds and the merchant?s program should also be on <a href="http://www.shareasale.com">ShareASale.com</a>
Firstly you will have to log into your affiliate account over <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/a-login.cfm ">here</a>

As soon as you log in you can access the Make a Page feature from the link circled in the Image below.

Then click on the link provided to launch the tool as shown.

Now you can begin work with feeds of those Merchants who do not have categorized data feeds (I feel every merchant should provide a range of custom categories) To work with Merchants with the Categorized data feeds you can do so by taking a look at the screenshot below.

In the primary search area you get the custom fields that the merchants provide with each of their datafeeds

Since I handle Flora2000 and have a customized feed I chose, this example! The most important custom field is the one marked below. Or you will be sending your visitors to various country sections on our site when they expect to send products to another country.

The column in the below Image will help you choose products that have discounts. Those are the values of the discounts available. (These colums or custom categories vary from merchant to merchant)

Select products as per the categories on our sites.

Select products as per the sub categories on our site.

So these are our final selections below.

Then you come up to the page options. Here you can choose how the page will look on your site, how many items you would like to display, if you want them to have a border etc.

I have enlisted a couple of sites that have the HTML color code charts to help choose your link colors and border colors.

<a href="http://www.christiansitehosting.com/Hexadecimal%20Color%20Coding%20Chart.gif">HTML Color Codes 1</a>

<a href="http://ific.uv.es/~gonzalez/webtutor/makapage/pics/net216-2.gif">HTML Color Codes 2</a>

Do not forget to tick mark the Custom Value fields so that you get the results you want! Choose the fields you would like to display as well.

Hit the view results button and there you go the code as well as the results lined for you as you requested.

Hope this has been a fruitful learning experience and will help you make maximum use of this wonderful tool made by ShareASale. Save your commission by not getting a third party to do this for you.

I couldn't figure out why your images would not display. We don't have a rule that you need a certain amount of post before you can show images.

Here's the cuprit

With this option set to 'no', the tag will not be displayed if the path to the image contains dynamic characters such as ? and &. This can prevent malicious use of the [IMG] tag.[/I]

Your images are all configured like this with lots of % signs: \photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger2/4871/3880/1600/380712/Make%20a%20Page3.jpg

I'm not going to change that setting cuz I don't want to risk anyone posting anything malicious. So I will remove the image tags from you post and made them links to the images in case anyone wants to see the screenshots.

Ok so now I've killed my carpal edited all those links and now I see why they won't display. Most of them go to Forbidden!

It's OK to just post a link to your blog for people to read it there.
Since you took the time to try to post it here, since it's good info
and since there are so many images,

it's OK for people that are interested to go there to read.

Actually, the reason why the pictures aren't showing is because Blogger doesn't allow remote linking to images. I can have similar %20 filenames on my server and it shows up fine, because %20 is just the code for a space character rather than a ? or & for a dynamic URL:

Make%20a%20Page9.jpg

clyderose: Instead of Blogger, maybe you could try an alternative service to host your pictures to post in the forum, like http://www.tinypic.com/

Oh thanks Ghoti. I couldn't figure out what was up. Weird too because one of the pics was showing for me for awhile even though on blogger, but the others weren't.

I had a tough time doing the images, anyway apart from that I hope you guys find it informative in the next few weeks im gonna be putting up a lot of stuff that I have learnt :) so hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

@ ghoti thank you!
