Importance Of Your Landing Page

I see via my traffic logs that I get visitors to many of my
sub-pages, and not just my / - which means that I have the
opportunity to make each page (at least the ones I see getting
landed on) a specific landing page for the most targeted
keywords that reach those pages.

So I suggest that we all take a closer look at what our internal
pages "say" - and how easy it is for a visitor to reach the
rest of the site or homepage from their landing spot. Not to
mention making those landing pages as optimized as possible for
conversions.

I am guilty of not paying too much attention to my landing page, but I am doing and AdWords campaign for a client at the moment, this made me place a lot of emphasis on the landing page for the products.

That's great Temi. One way to look at your situation is this...you are getting paid (by
your client) to learn all about landing pages and the importance of analytics :)

You are absolutely correct Martin, I am being forced to use all that stuff I have learnt which I am usually too lazy to apply for my own project but which I apply correctly when its a client's project

I always go by the rule "no more then 3 clicks" being that, what ever page landed on every other page on the website is no further than 3 clicks away.
