It is important to not post any irrelevant content which is not related to the topic , then you can surely avoid spam.

Spam: If you have an email address I bet you're fed up with the unsolicited mail you receive. The increase in spam has virtually relegated email as an adult only facility. Spam is a wast of our time. Many spam emails are obscene, many are offensive or insulting to one's inteligence e.g. "I have a zillion pounds that I want to put into your bank account, please fax your bank account details to me...This is not a scam, honest!".

Don't give out your email or address details to random websites. Make sure that your being careful and think about things before submitting forms and registering to certain websites.

We can avoid by having human verification (captcha). Report Post is a good option to report the spammer. If you find any irrelevant post in forum just give report post. Most of user won't consider this.

well i hate those people who are just posting to get some backlinks. Do the hard work and respond to the subject with good words. not just "great post" and things like that

Well you will have spam no matter what. You could hire some moderators to take care of it for you though. Or maybe even have the posts be validated.

Well, its a big time issue on every forum, you may install a very strong spam filter.
