Excellent overview. Scaling campaigns for traffic peaks means aligning campaign timing with seasonal surges, increasing infrastructure reliability, and ensuring budget and media channel adjustments are made in an agile manner in order to better capitalize on the uptick.
 
Great read — seasonality really does make or break campaign performance. I’ve noticed the biggest gains come from planning 3–4 weeks ahead of peak periods, syncing ad creatives and budgets early, and preparing fallback traffic sources in case bids spike. Also, testing different GEOs can help balance out seasonal dips in your main markets.
