How to make that first sale when you are starting in affiliate marketing?

I have been working on ClickBank for more than 2 months now. I am on my 3rd product trial, campaigns are running, metrics are really good, ads are interesting for people, traffic is good, but the first sale isn't happening. I have my sales funnel set up, a landing page that causes curiosity, and the next stage is the VSL page for the vendor. These past days I had more than 300 clicks on the link but no checkout initiation . Despite that, I hear that the VSL is the most converting part of the funnel; this is not happening in my case . People don't seem to have the patience to watch a 30-minute video. I am looking for some answers on how to change this scenario. Does anyone know how to help? Thanks.

If your metrics are good but no one’s reaching checkout it usually means the drop off is happening before the VSL even has a chance. Long VSLs convert only when the audience is already warmed up. Getting cold traffic to sit through 30 minutes is really tough. You might get better results by testing shorter pitches or leaning into strategies that warm up your target audience like referrals or affiliate marketing.
