How Long to be profitable ?

Hi guys, I know this question will not have a stable or standard answer. But just in your own personal experience How long (in time) and how much money would you spend B4 you become a profitable marketer ?

You can spend a few hundred to 50k+. Time can be anywhere from days to years.

Test with smaller amounts. If you spend $200 and make $0, then move to the next product or change the way you market it. There's no point in spending money in hopes that the more you spend, the more you'll earn.
