How have two of my domains merged in search results?

bit of an odd one here. Our client has had the domain Independent Financial Advice - Lancashire Financial Advisers for a long time. We recently set up a micro site for a project they are working on - Pensions Reform 2012 - Fron Ashton Hoyle. We made this site live last week. Howver, when you search for 'Ashton Hoyle' all the metadat is from the main site but the links are from this new domain, do the search, it explains it better than I can!!

When you search in Google 'site:pensions Reform 2012 - Fron Ashton Hoyle' it returns 82 results. All these pages are actually from Independent Financial Advice - Lancashire Financial Advisers' and if you click the 'cached' option next to each result, you'll see what should be there (minus the formatting of course).

Does this make sense? Does anyone know why this has happend and more importantl;y how to amend it as the clients main site can no longer be found or accessed via Google.

Your help would be very much appreciated.
