How do you create a Landing Page?

Okay, I have never made a Landing page before and I'm wanting to promote leads.
But I don't know how to go about it I'm not familiar with coding so it makes it difficult.
Also, how do the details get sent to the merchants from your Landing page these are all things I need to know as I'm a beginner. I've heard that fancy landing pages don't convert as well because it's too busy for the visitor!

Following are the steps to create landing page in hubspot:

• Go to the Landing Page Manager
• Create a new landing page
• Select a landing page template
• Give your landing page a name
• Add your content to the landing page
  
• Choose your landing page basic settings
  
• Choose your landing page advanced settings
  
• Publish the landing page
