Help with building a couple of affiliate websites

Hi There!
I am looking to start building a couple of different affiliate websites based on education.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or places I can learn more about this type of format along with SEO optimization.
Also, if I am doing the right thing focusing on education or should I be considering other quality subjects for higher ad Google revenue?
I do not want to work with anything illegal, nor having to do with gaming or porn.
THX A lot - Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Education is a pretty profitable affiliate niche but it's also very competitive.
Take a look at the links in the 1st post below and use the keyword research suggestions to try to drill down and maybe find a SUB-niche of education that is not quite as competitive.

Well there isn't really a specific format for any type of affiliate web sites. Affiliates use all types of formats including blogs, comparison sites, review sites, coupon sites, info sites and more.

Maybe if you explain a little more about exactly what you need we could help.
Were you looking for general info on how to build sites or ???

Hi Linda,

I dont see it like that...
O.K, I mean it's not my first goal to make it profitable for me.

You gave such a good and helpful iformation.
I'm sure that me&my friend's will use it.

Thank you.

Education is a very broad niche.

Perhaps focusing on a subniche would be an option. If you cast your net too wide problem is attracting recurring targetted traffic could be difficult.

Your concerns about staying legal are valid. But there are a lot of niches apart from gambling and the other that attract a decent adsense payout. It's about how much traffic you get and what your click through rate is

On search engine optimization, there is a lot of free reading material on the web. Look in this forum for example. Also there are forums sppecific to SEO. just do a google [or are we doing bing :0 ] search
