I say (sometimes) paradise because as beautiful as South Florida can be, we've been having a tremendous storm season lately. I'm watching the red sky roll up right now as I type this...
Anyway, I've been in the Affiliate Marketing industry for a long time, about 9 years, which is a long time in the Online Industry. I've been on both sides, spending some time as an Advertiser working with our own suite of products, but mostly on the Affiliate side, being part of a large Email Marketing company for awhile, several years with a traffic brokerage company, and a few years with my current position working for a Network/Agency. My current position has been the most rewarding in terms of team competency and personal fulfillment.
I"d like to start off my membership here by giving something back. One of the most crucial things you can do to start off on the road to success is also one of the simplest things to do, yet so many fail to do it. Curious? Here it is in one word: PLAN
Isn't it true that generally 80% of your efforts yield 20% of the results? If you find yourself choosing networks and grabbing campaigns and putting up to "see what sticks", I'm sure you've experienced that. How do you change that around? How do you get to the point where 20% of your efforts gives you 80% of your results? Well, I don't have time to write a book here, so here are some tips:
