Hello from a fairly newbie webmaster

having recently launched our first website, http://www.tickeverybox.com , I am fairly new to all of this - and would appreciate lots of good advice and guidance. We are just being optimised at the moment (apparently) and we are learning on our feet. Anyway. I am looking forward to finding out lots more info from this great resource, and excuse my stupidity if I make any schoolboy error posts! My area of expertise is property, not the internet!

As far as our web designer/programmers, yes they are really good at communicating and explaining to us what they are doing, but optimisation appears to be a process of many parts - so seems somewhat overwhelming at the size of the job in hand.
