Hello from a Data-Obsessed Developer

Hi everyone,

I’ve been lurking around AffiliateFix for a while, and I’m finally jumping in!

I come from a background in data engineering and software development. In the affiliate world, we all know that "data is the new oil," but I’ve always been obsessed with how high-level financial data (like what the "smart money" is doing) can be used to spot emerging market trends before they hit the mainstream.

I’m currently building a platform called 13radar. It’s a tool designed to visualize 13F filings—basically tracking exactly what big institutional investors like Michael Burry, Warren Buffett, and major hedge funds are buying and selling.

Why am I here?

To Learn: I want to understand how affiliates identify niches.

To Share: I believe institutional moves are "leading indicators" for certain niches (e.g., if hedge funds are piling into a specific sub-sector of AI or Green Energy, there’s likely an affiliate goldmine coming).

If you’re curious about what the "Big Boys" are holding in 2026, or if you have any feedback on how I can make financial data more useful for marketers, let’s chat!

Looking forward to growing with you all.

Why would I pay for that when it is free public SEC information?

the example is for NVDA

The SEC also has API access for scaled users too. Or is that what you are intending to use?

***added edit Track Hedge Funds Using 13F Filings and Data from the Whales you also have entrenched competitors of some years incumbency.

You're absolutely right—the SEC EDGAR database is free and the ultimate source of truth. However, the raw XML/text filings there are like unrefined ore. 13radar acts as the refinery. We save you hours of manual spreadsheet work by visualizing historical trends, tracking sector rotations, and identifying 'conviction signals' (like which gurus are doubling down vs. just holding) that aren't immediately obvious in a raw 13F. For many, the time saved is worth far more than the subscription.
