This program connects us with reporters and journalist and people that are looking for information on a specific subject. HARO thinks everyone is an expert at something or at least has some information on a particular subject that other people would find interesting. HARO is the middle man for information gathering.
HARO starts with a reporter or journalist looking for some information for a newspaper, magazine article, web sites, radio shows, news letters, blogs, TV shows, ect. and they are always on the hunt for fresh new content for their subject lines.

Reporters all around the world need information on subjects from sources like you to meet their dealines and fill the demand for fresh content.
If your are interested in becoming an information source for your area of expertise, all you have to do is go to google and type in: (help a reporter out) and you will be taken to the site. There are some simple do's & don'ts that you may want to follow. Do's- Read the request of the information carefully at least twice, respond quickly, give a lot of precise information, include in your subject line: HARO Reply- Then Your Topic, to make it easier on you create a pre-written HARO response from you to save time and then add your content.
Don't Waste the reporters time, don't answer to everyone, don't forget your basic contact information phone number included, don't send attachments, don't be a pest and don't follow up unless you are picked as a source, and please absolutely NO-SPAM!!!
You will be e-mailed 3 times a day and in those e-mails there will be 20 queries on the categories that you picked for you to read and review. If you find one that you are interested in, you can contact the reporter directly via e-mail.
