If you have a Federal Firearms License (FFL) or are advertising a licensed FFL in the US it's possible.

Firearms accessories and ammo is not regulated per se.

The margins on firearms are very small these days.

The reason i ask because my website is gun and related to cigars. So it hard to bring in traffic. i have been using Pinterest as my way of drawing traffic. but i feel like pay traffic would be faster.

I am considering advertising accessories --on a SEO level as display advertising of related content --but have yet to pursue it.

Amazon and ebay sell accessories. It's legal to ship body armor to all US states with the exception of CT and there are restrictions on self defense "tools" in some states. You need to know the industry --this is not an adult dating free-for-all.
