Google has developed Google SMS, a beta version of a service that is to enable users of mobile phones and other handheld devices to use its online search engine.
People on the move can send an SMS containing keywords for a search to Google and they then receive a reply from the company.
The service, currently available via six US mobile operators, is not available outside the country.
