Hi Friends Recently I completed my SEO course,
but i don't know about Google penguin
Can anyone tell me about Google penguin????

Penguin is links based penalty algorithm of Google. It finds website which have built bad quality links or tried to manipulate search engine ranking through paid links or any other bad practices and remove the website from search engine result pages.

It has been said that it will effect rankings for certain sites.

I've never been an SEO "head(?)" however I have been hearing from lots of people about their websites going down in rank. It would perhaps be nice for Google to publish more articles about what they look for, like when they announced having an SSL based website which eventually have an effect on rankings.
