Buoyed by recent successes again Google such as the acquisition of Google contract with Amazon to supply A9 search results, it is reported that Microsoft is now trying to form a partnership or acquire Yahoo outright. Other companies such as eBay are also said to be looking for ways or forming and anti Google alliance, so there is an active "Get Google " force among the bigger players this days.

Do you think Google's invincible seeming roller coaster is finally heading for a slow down?

Google is FAR more aggressive than Microsoft etc, and I have said this for a few years now. Thjey paint themselves as a handful of college boys done good, but their ultimate aim is to index the ENTIRE WORLD's information. If that isn't scary what is?

They are now however moving into and taking over other markets, such as payment processing, auctions, local advertising, offline magazine advertising, and are even roumoured to be looking at vertical portals.
