Does the weather affect your business?

The spell of good weather we are experiencing at the moment meat some businesses will enjoy a boom and some will not.

Does the whether (good or bad) affect your business, if so how?

Weather certainly affects my business. When the sun is shining, I sit out the back with a nice cold drink and do nothing

Seriously though not really. It affects my adsense and affiliate earnings, but not badly, as I ensure I have sites ranking for the summer stuff as well as the others.

Yes. Contrary to OWG, summer is our best time. We manage a number of tourism sites, as well as portals and directories, the hits/traffic/referral income is all a lot higher in the summer than in the winter.

Furthermore, as a sizeable amount of our clients are tourism based, they're usually so busy running their businesses in the hot weather they don't shout as much at us to get things done . As such we use the summer to push some of our other projects.

I was talking personally We also have some large tourism portals, but that is within one of the companies I am part of, so I don't get to deal with the crap LOL

You know, strangely summer doesn't effect my business all THAT much. I think the only things that do are clients wanting to do email campaigns for summer stuff but thats not a huge amount.

Valentines day and leading up to it is the busiest time for me personally.

I find around September time is when things start to get hectic. A lot of companies want xmas promotions done of some sort or the main thing is what I like to call "The New Year Syndrome" when there ready to do something major.
