Does selling advertisements work for you? Do you earn a decent amount of money from it?

Ehh, so far I've earned about 10 dollars. It's alright, but would definitely not depend on it to run my forum

I tried it before, but it was very difficult for me to find any advertisers and have even lowered down the cost to only $1 per month. Unfortunately nobody was interested and since then I am using advertising networks.

I once earned 30$ for 3 months ad and that's it .

Thanks, I've had more success selling privately and not through a 3rd party, for the simple reasons, I can advertise that I'm selling the ad space in more places and can do custom orders, have discount.

I never was able to sell even one advert for my site!
But i do expect to sell some soon!!! Optimistic to get some revenues!

I make quite a bit of money from Advertisements on my websites, The last couple of months has been slow but we have been earning all the same.
